Craspedia uniflora var. uniflora is an indigenous highly variable green rosette herb. Craspedia uniflora has simple leaves. The leaves are arranged opposite one another and the margins have white ciliate margins.
The flower head (1.5-3cm across) on a stalk (15-cm long) consists of many white/yellow flowers. 
It grows from Rotorua in the North Island southwards to Southland and Fiordland.
