Wiseana umbraculatus is a species of moth endemic to New Zealand. Their habitat is open ground or forest clearings
The wingspan is 38–50 mm for males and 49–66 mm for females. The colour can varies, but is usually fawn, pinkish fawn or infuscate. The hindwings are pinkish-fawn to yellow-fawn. Adults are on wing from September to April.
